The Grand Teton Mountain Range and The Long Lonesome Highway

Boots, the webmaster can be seen here at Glacier View Turnout on a very cold Long Lonesome Highway, 27 degrees F that morning in October 2008. The Grand Teton Range could not be seen that day, which was a big disappointment. The mountain in the background in both pixs is Bronson point which is the landmark to identify the highway segment in each ending episode. As the highway (191) winds along traveling south this mountain point juts out and stops at the highway's edge.

Bronson Point. The road just before the point traveling south is Antelope Flats Road. This area is located about 10 miles north of downtown Jackson, Wyoming on state Hwy 191/89/26.
